POST THEM HERE INSTEAD.

Suigetsu can readily be described as a handful. Easy to talk to, but extremely difficult to deal with, he has always given the impression of someone with a one-track mind, ignorant of most other issues around him in favour of his own goals. An ambitious soul, he focuses on and has his life revolving around the fact that he will rule absolutely over the infamous Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, a team of elites from the country he hails from. He has vowed long ago that he would collect the seven swords and lead this group, restoring it to its former glory.
Passion for the art drives him - he can prattle on for extended periods of time about exotic swords and the team he intends to take under his wing, as seen when he's talking to Karin, Juugo and Uchiha Sasuke, his teammates. It has been shown to be quite dangerous to insult his passion as he becomes irritated in an episode when Karin decides to mock it. Sasuke has to tell him to ignore it for him to calm down. He tells the stories about the swords with vigour, the only thing that seems to interest him, as seen when he's explaining the seven swords to his comrade Juugo; anything he doesn't care about is ignored or brushed off casually.
Indifference has a large bearing on everything he does. Suigetsu has been demonstrated as someone who is desensitized to the woes of those around him and is ever shown to be lazy and rather lethargic - though this is, in part, to the heavy sword he carried around and the condition of his body - frequently stating, "Aren't you guys tired? Let's take a break." Seeing death doesn't affect him and he deals with problems with a startling nonchalance. In their search for Juugo, Suigetsu witnesses someone die in Karin's arms and stares down at the body with only an, "Oh, he died." He doesn't care about much; this includes killing and his tendency to strut around nude as though he's fully clothed… as this does happen a lot in the manga and anime.
Even dealing with his own team, he has been shown to be particularly apathetic, especially when it comes to their feelings. This is obvious each time he purposely foils Karin's plans to be romantically involved with Sasuke. He brushes off her apparent love for the man and even goes as far as to say that one of his favourite things - his second favourite, to be exact, as he tells Juugo in the manga - is to mess with Karin and make her as miserable as possible.
He's rather mischievous in this regard; he teases Karin about Sasuke constantly and even pokes fun at Sasuke and Juugo about their curse seals making them ugly. "Who would have thought the cursed seal deforms people that much? Sasuke, do you get that ugly, too?" He has also joked around to put others to the test, as seen when he's first introduced. He threatens Sasuke right after the Uchiha saves him from Orochimaru's lair and then backs off with a cheery, "Just kidding!" This chipper attitude is a plus side to Suigetsu and despite the fact that he has an evil underbelly, on the surface he seems to be a very happy-go-lucky person unfazed by the world around him. He's always shown with a smile and has been since he was a child - as stated by Hoshigake Kisame, a swordsman Suigetsu is pursuing.
He deals with things that are odd with jokes, almost childishly, and he has a bit of a crude, blatant humour regarding things other people might find disgusting. This is seen in the manga when Suigetsu comments on the deformity of Yakushi Kabuto with a "Is this Kabuto? Kinda gross. This thing coming out of his belly looks just like a huge-" and had to be cut off by Sasuke before he could finish.
His relationships with others are seemingly nonexistent; the only people he seems to care for are his teammates Karin, Juugo and Sasuke. His flaws don't seem to count when he's dealing with his three comrades. Instead of indifference, he is loyal to a fault and has risked his life several times for the benefit of the group; the fight with the eight-tailed Jinchuuriki, Killer Bee, is a fine example, as he lets his team run away while he tries to hold the enemy back. This doesn't put a damper on his merciless nature, however.
Suigetsu is said to play with his victims by cutting off their limbs before beheading them, as stated by Kisame who declares him a demon and a prodigy of murder. He also still readily disobeys Sasuke several times, going against the leader's orders to spare everyone they can from death. He justifies this for himself with a "He'll forgive me" and "one won't hurt". It shows he does care what the Uchiha thinks about him. The things other people tell him don't resonate as well as they do when Sasuke tells them.
He has developed a kind of possessive nature over Sasuke, protective and possessive. He demonstrates this aggressively, an example being when he yells at Juugo for interrupting him when he's speaking with their leader, "Don't get in the way when I'm talking with Sasuke!"
- Able to change to liquify and solidify at will to and from the consistency of water (hydration technique).
- Can enlarge limbs and increase his strength in that limb considerably (water release: great water arm technique).
- Can use detached parts of his body to surround an opponent with a bubble of water (drowning water blob technique).
- When merging with bodies of water, he can shape the mass into the form of a demon-like fish (water release: demon fish technique).
- Shaping a finger-gun with his hand, he can fire a droplet of water from his finger at high speed (water release: water gun technique).
- Also adept with kenjutsu and taijutsu, demonstrating excellent swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat, respectively.
*downsides to the manipulation of his body's natural make-up are constant dehydration and lethargy.
*has a pesky tendency to take on a jelly-like blob form when rendered unconscious.
*debilitating weakness against all lightning attacks.
To just about everyone in her world, Usagi Tsukino is a kind highchool girl who has a bit of an appetite and a penchant for crying. She also happens to possibly be the most powerful being in her known universe, and with the help of her friends she routinely helps keep the planet Earth safe under the guise of Sailor Moon. Like her life and her past, there is much more to Usagi than what is first apparent.
Usagi's general disposition is rather light hearted and carefree. She cares greatly for her friends and loved ones, but in the same breath is not beyond teasing or scheming with them. She does have moments where things will get on her nerves, particularly when she's being teased. Despite her anger being quite pronounced at some points, she never really stays bent out of shape for long and oftentimes realizes when she's been wrong and will apologize for it. This happens several times when she's adjusting to Chibiusa, who manages to press her buttons more than others. However, the two grow quite close and after she's gone Usagi does miss her. It's fairly easy to call Usagi an outgoing person, especially in regards to other people.
Usa can be quite lazy about accomplishing things that she is not particularly interested in. This is immediately evident in her lack of performance in school in all subjects and managing to wake up on time in order to actually attend class on time. Her lack of interest in these subjects is not because she's stupid, but rather because she does not take the time to study and learn the things she needs to in order to excel in school. Her inability to remember a lot of kanji reflects this rather well. Though initially this laziness is accompanied by an extreme lack of coordination and battle ability, with the progression of the story line she becomes much more adept at fighting and defending herself. This is likely because her powers and abilities as a Sailor Senshi.
Usagi is also quite fond of food, and though her affinity for eating is not bad as some bottomless pit types in anime, she does tend to make more than her fair share of comments about hunger. In fact, one of the first few interactions she has with Makoto involves her attraction to Mako's cooking, and Usa's bottomless pit of a stomach. Interestingly enough this moment is one of bonding for the two girls.
Calling Usagi "kind" is a dramatic understatement. If the grinch is the epitome of having a small, shriveled heart, then Usagi would be his complete antithesis. Befriending other people comes easy to Usagi, and is easily one of her greatest strengths as a person. It's her ability to befriend dramatically different people that gives her access to such reliable allies and friends. This does not mean that she only befriends people that she needs as allies either. Quite the contrary in fact, as she cares for every one of her friends quite deeply. In specific, she befriends Ami with the intention of being her friend, not only because she is another sailor senshi.
Usagi's kindness is not limited to being such towards her friends, as her kindness towards others is often extended towards those she does not yet know. A good example of this behaviour is her determination to believe that both Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus are allies, rather than conforming to the skepticism that the other senshi as well as Luna and Artemis show. This sort of faith is repeated when the starlights appear in the final arc. Usagi whole heartedly believes that they are meant to be allies, rather than enemies, even though the starlights are obviously from somewhere outside of the solar system. Even enemies are given a sort of compassion, especially Galaxia, to whom Usagi makes an effort to protect, even though moments before they had been fighting one another.
This sort of attitude and habit of extending trust to others so easily can classify Usagi as being somewhat naive, which can be seen as a rather large weakness. It potentially leaves her open to being hurt, by less than genuine people or an enemy trying to gain her trust for one reason or another. However this ability to believe in everyone is, none the less, one of her greatest strengths as well. It is very much an aspect in her character that causes people to gravitate to her, and an aspect of her that her friends strive to protect.
At the beginning of her story, Usagi is quite immature, but by the final chapters of the manga Usagi has grown into a rather capable and mature young woman who has found security in herself and the strength to face her enemies despite odds that out number her. This is a gradual growth that takes most of the series. By the time of the final arc of the manga Usagi has grown into her role as Sailor Moon, and more importantly into her role of protector. During her time in the cauldron, Usagi is told that it's because she exists that great darkness also exists. It is this realization that impresses upon Usagi the most that she is responsible for protecting and guiding not only her friends and loved ones but everyone. She embraces this destiny whole heartedly, and with the full intention of keeping absolutely everyone safe.
Her hope and determination are forces that drive her forward when most other people would give up and concede defeat. When faced with the losses of her friends and allies, she somehow finds the strength to keep moving forward, this strength being solidly held in her hope and belief that if she can triumph, her friends can return to her. This sort of determination and faith is why she tosses away the plea of Cosmos to destroy the Cauldron, and instead searches for a way to save -everyone- and still manage to keep the cauldron in existance. In her mind, it is irreconsilable to destroy the creation of all life in order to bring peace to a world. Instead, now that her maturity has fully blossomed, she accepts the resposibility as protector and vows to keep fighting and keep everyone safe in order to preserve the continuation of the galaxy.
First and Foremost, Usagi has the ability to become the evil fighting Sailor Suited Soldier Sailor Moon.
Usagi's abilities as a Sailor Senshi revolve around purification and healing. It is her power that manages to defeat the darkess that she and the other Senshi face as enemies in her world. In order to become Sailor Moon, Usagi uses the power of the Silver Crystal to transform into the heroine. This crystal is held in the brooch she wears on her uniform.
The brooch itself can only be used by people who are decendants of the royal bloodline of the moon of which Usagi is a reincarnation of, and even then only the women of the bloodline can use it. This means that only Usagi and her future daughter ChibiUsa are able to use the crystal's abilities despite the crystal often being the target of the enemies Usagi faces. During the storyline, Usagi's transformation powers up several times until she is finally able to transform into Eternal Sailor Moon. Each of Sailor Moon's "forms" uses different attacks, but rarely -- if ever -- does she use the attacks of a previous form once she has gained new abilities.
As Eternal Sailor Moon, Usagi's attack moves are:
Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss :: Eternal Sailor Moon uses her staff (the Eternal Tiare) to attack the enemy.
Silver Moon Crystal Power Therapy Kiss :: This is a more powered up version of the above attack.
Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power :: Once Usagi has jumped into the Galaxy Cauldron and gathered the sailor crystals to her, she uses her own power and their power combined to perform this attack and destroy Chaos without completely destroying the cauldron.
When trying to describe who Nuriko is and why he is the way he is it's important to understand where he comes from, and why he's chosen to live the life he has. As mentioned in the link for his history, Nuriko lost his younger sister, Kourin, in a tragic accident that resulted in her dying. Even at the ages of 9 and 10, the two were practically twins, and very much inseperatable. He was the one with her when the accident happened, and likely blames himself harshly for running ahead of her just before the accident. This was such a traumatic event for him, that in his grief he decided to live the life she would have wanted to live for her. In deciding this, he proceeded through life making the choices he made while keeping in mind what he thought she would have wanted. This ultimately led to him taking a place in Emperor Hotohori's harem as his sister Kourin. In his heart he truly believed this is what she would have wanted, and Hotohori -- The Emperor -- was the kind of man she would have fallen in love with so he strived to make this come true for Kourin.
There is the issue of his request to Miaka regarding wishes. He does, in fact, request that one of the wishes that Miaka asks of Suzaku be to turn him into a female. However, believe this is more so for the dream of living as Kourin rather than a true feeling that he himself is a woman. Taking all of this into account, I feel it's more true to the character to admit he dealt with the trauma of losing his sister in a unique way that helped him process his feelings, rather than saying he himself identifies as being female. Because he felt so strongly for his sister he lived as she would have, in order to give Kourin some semblance of remembrance that he felt she deserved. This however, does not mean that over the course of living as Kourin he himself did not develop feelings for Hotohori, as evidenced by his own admission to Miaka that he does indeed harbor feelings for him.
Simply understanding where Nuriko comes from in relation to his past, it's easy to understand how dedicated and loyal he is to those he cares about. While it wasn't a wholly healthy reaction to his sister’s death, he was dedicated to having her live through him to a point that many people would not be able to do themselves or even comprehend. This aspect of his personality is further illustrated by his dedication towards Miaka, once their relationship has grown from rivals to friends and more. There is a point he admits to himself that in addition to how he feels about Hotohori he may also have feelings for Miaka -- but at the same time he would never, ever act upon them because he so fully supports and understands the love that she has with Tamahome. It would be impossible for him to step in the middle of that, considering how important both Miaka; as his priestess and friend, and Tamahome; as one of his true friends. Instead he is more than content to be a protector and a brotherly type towards Miaka instead.
All in all, the easiest way to describe Nuriko is the way Tamahome does. "Nuriko wasn't a man or a woman. Nuriko was... Nuriko."
Springing from Nuriko's dedication, comes Nuriko's intense and almost self destructive desire to protect those he cares about. What he wants most is to see the people he cares about happy and safe. It's very clear how important Miaka and Tamahome are to him when he constantly expresses concern about the state of their relationship -- even going as far as to realize how upset Miaka is when Tamahome is missing, which is something Miaka had not realized yet herself at the time. This drive to protect people -- and at the same time avoid another loss like the loss he experienced with Kourin, is also what drives him to face Ashitare alone. Because he sees Ashitare as a danger to Miaka he dives in to try and remove the threat despite the fact that his own life is likely to be forfeit.
Despite the dedication and loyality he displays, Nuriko did take some development to get there. When he first appears he is still living as Kourin, a courtier in Hotohori's harem. He is massively jealous of the attention Miaka receives from Hotohori, and reacts in a childish manner -- he decides to try and take the man he perceives as the one she cares about, Tamahome. In addition to this he does play a nasty trick on Miaka, sending her out to look for a pearl earring that he hasn't actually lost, in order to teach Miaka a lesson. He does however slowly mature, primarily because of his interactions with Miaka and the growing friendship between the two of them. As he fully steps into the role of being a Suzaku Seishi, his friendship and duty combined seems to help push his childishness and spoiled behavior to the wayside. This does not mean that sometimes this aspect of his personality does not squeak through, in fact he often teases the other seishi and Miaka included, albeit in a much less malicious way considering their friendship has blossomed.
Nuriko is quite energetic, this aspect of his personality being displayed in his playful manner towards the other seishi, as well as when reacting in frustration or anger. Nuriko is not beyond tearing off a piece of the palace wall in order to sling it at a departing assassin. In order to escape judgment he does tend to put on a playful act. "Oh my! Look at what he did to the palace!!" Of course, everyone else knew who exactly ruined the palace wall. More or less, Nuriko can be considered as the outgoing type as a result, meaning that he gets along with others of a similar personality. This is likely why he got along so well with Tasuki, who has a loud, outgoing and somewhat obnoxious personality that complements Nuriko's own likewise outgoing as well as teasing and personable one.
Normally, someone like Nuriko would be a normal human being. However, Nuriko, along with others were chosen at birth to bear the duty of being one of the seven "seishi" or warriors destined to protect the girl that would be come their country's priestess. With this duty comes special abilities in order to perform their task as well as a symbol that identifies them as such. Nuriko's symbol is the chinese character for "willow" located on the right side of his chest.
The ability given to him as a result of being one of the seven warriors of Konan is that of super strength. He is able to easily break through walls and tear off parts of buildings effortlessly, which can prove to be quite humorous considering his outward appearance and build. This strength is not something that he has a full grasp on in canon, and sometimes (*mostly* accidentally) he'll forget the scope of his strength which usually ends in broken things or bruised friends.
This strength is amplified by two bracletes he recieves from Taiitsukun on their journey. At will, these bracelets turn into gauntlets when Nuriko is fighting or doing something particularly physically taxing. In particular, he uses these bracelets when lifting a giant boulder from in front of the Genbu shrine.
