Although he shows only affection to his leader, and gets stomach aches when he sees his older sister, he treats both males and females in general equally (as seen with the nicknames given to both Haru and Yamamoto. He usually ends his sentences with the suffix “-daze” which, in Japan, is grouped with males with the “wild” personality. He has a habit of giving nicknames (which are more like insults) to people he argues with on a daily basis, as seen when he calls Yamamoto “baseball-brain”, Lambo “Stupid Cow” and Haru “Stupid Woman”.
Although hot-headed, he seems to like children, despite his claims (Fuuta’s ranking ranked him as one of the highest mafioso who liked children). He’s also more of a thinking, above all things, and combat is something he has to work on. This is shown with how even though he has a rebellious look and attitude, he scores one hundreds on all of test at school, and has stated himself that he ‘works better with paper and pencil’. When trying to teach Tsuna how to swim, he presented a white board with mathematical symbols on it, getting the perfect angles for how his arms should be bent and how high he should kick so the Tenth Vongola Boss could swim 15 meters. It makes him mad how people like Yamamoto and Ryohei are just a natural when it comes to fighting, and can act on their abilities, while he has to think things out.
Mercy is something that is alien to him, and it is when Tsuna saves him (Gokudera had tried to kill to Tsuna, but messed up, dropping a bomb near his feet that would have killed him if Tsuna had put it out first), it is the first time he’s ever experienced it. It is because of that, he decides to follow the young leader no matter where he’ll go. The reason it’s so foreign to him is because Gokudera is a ‘lone wolf’. For being the illegitimate child in the mafia world (something that is not tolerated), he was kicked out of every place he went to after running away, no one wanting a ‘mix breed’ in their family. He got into fights whenever he went. It is also because of this, that he has nearly no restraint, taking little comments as threats, and is ready to throw dynamite at anyone who even thinks badly of Tsuna or poses a threat to the family. It also because Tsuna was the first one to show him mercy, that he is so loyal to him.
He is not a person who trusts or comes to like people easily. The only person he trusts completely is Tsuna. Although since he does not want to burden his beloved boss with his problems, he usually goes to Reborn, someone who he admires and wish to become as well of a hitman as he is, so he can serve Tsuna in a more profitable way. He is the type of person who learns from his mistake-a trial and error sort of way. He does do something, such as not living up to the Tenth’s expectation or not completing a mission, he constantly thinks about it, turning it over and over inside his head so he has no choice but to learn. But because of that he never makes the same mistake twice.
His pride is being the right hand man of the Vongola Decimo. Throw as many insults as you want at him, he won’t take it to heart unless you’re someone he cares about. But insult his boss, and he’ll be sure to throw at least ten sticks of dynamite your way. He takes and insults, threats, and even glares towards the boss as his own. Gokudera does not like backing down from any challenge. He sees it as being weak and discriminating the name of the Vongola. But, he does realize that his boss dislikes fighting, and because of that, he will only throw a punch (or a stick of dynamite) if someone else attacks him first. Or if the insult the Tenth enough to piss him off that that level. Restraint is something that he is not very familiar with, and tends to go all out in all battles, making up things as he goes along if he has to to win.
Because he can not constantly stop thinking about how his regrets, he always does his best to make up for them. Gokudera goes all out and a little over the top with the simplist tasks in an attempt to amend the mistakes he has made and show Tsuna he’s fit to be his right hand man.
Gokudera sees everyone older than him as an enemy. This comes from the fact that he was rejected and put down by nearly every adult he has come in contact with for being a “half-breed mutt”. And the fact his older sister poisoned him everyday with his cooking due to his father’s encouragement since the piano playings he gave were “new” and “unique”. People who are younger than him he just finds annoying, although with time he comes to view them as a younger sibling (as seen with the stupid cow brat Lambo), but he’ll never admit it outright. The only person who’s older than him that he doesn’t view as an enemy and someone he trusts, is Dr.Shamal, who although he seems to openly hate, is the only father figure he’s ever had in life.

Dynamite: Gokudera always carries sticks of dynamite with him, all all shapes and sizes for any case. They’re concealed on all parts of his body.
Sistema C.A.I: It’s a series of box weapons (something that stores any weapons for animals that are created for the purpose of fighting, to things like chains) and rings that allows him to control and utilize the five flames within his body.
Skull Rings: They’re part of the Sistema C.A.I, that allows him to control the rain, lightening, cloud, and sun flames within his body.
Storm Cat: His Box Weapon animal, who he named Uri. The two have a love-hate relationship but Uri won’t let anyone harm Gokudera besides himself.
Combio Forma: G’s Archery: Uri combines with the Flame Arrow to create an arrow of bow, and has the roman numeral number for ‘one’ on it, showing it’s connection to the Primo Vongola Famiglia’s Storm Guardian, G. . In version X form, it has strap of dynamite, while forming armor on his legs and a single arm. It also gives him sunglasses and a pipe-shaped igniter to ignite his dynamite.
Motorcycle/Airbike: Simple enough. He uses it to travel long distance without having to use flames, therefore he is undetected.
Buckle Of The Storm: Version X: An upgrade of the Vongola Ring combined with Uri.
Other: Gokudera is ambidextrous.

Gokudera sat in class, looking out the window with a bored expression on his face as the teacher ranted about something he had learned years ago, and had no interest in relearning, not at least without the Tenth here. Sighing he stood up, ignoring the teacher’s shock remarks as they ordered him to return to his seat. Walking out of class he pulled out cellphone, calling Tsuna, and slamming it shut with frustration after receiving no answer.
“Damn! Where is Juudaime?” Last time this had happened, the Kokuyo gang had made it self known to the Vongola and the others. Had a rival famiglia raged war against him? At this thought, Gokudera began to pick up pace, running out of the building and in the direction of the male’s house. He only slowed down his pace once he reached it, opening the door without knocking.
