History: Here!
Appearance: A picture!
Personality:

Remilia is a self-styled noblewoman of class and taste. As the leader of the Scarlet Devil Mansion in Gensokyo, she claims to be a descendent of Dracula – a claim which is stated to be a bold-faced lie, though none of the other characters know. However, her position is not completely baseless; she is genuinely charismatic and capable of taking charge, as well as rarely faltering in her poise. She carries herself with the grace that one would expect from a real noblewomen.. She is not shy about the position she has taken on and takes on a naturally commanding air. The other members of her household are, after all, not exactly weaklings. She commands the absolute loyalty of a maid who rules time itself, the friendship of an extremely skilled magician, and a gatekeeper who may or may not be a dragon. These are not things she could have earned by being all show and no substance, and she is both powerful and clever in her own right. Indeed, in Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil, she earns her position as a “stage six boss” with powerful spell cards to challenge the main character. More interestingly, in the manga Silent Sinner in Blue, Remilia is perceptive enough to know that she is being manipulated by Yukari Yakumo, a near omnipotent being, and then allows it mainly because she's interested in what's been going on herself.

That, in fact, speaks to another very important part of Remilia's character: the desire for a good time. It's important to note that her main purpose as the antagonist of EoSD was to block out the sun, harmful to her as a vampire, so she could go out and have fun during the day. That was it; no real grand, villainous scheme, but she was willing to go to a great extent to have fun. She enjoys parties and drinking, leading a very decadent lifestyle in her mansion. She's used to having her every need tended to on command by the aforementioned maid. She definitely has a thing for novelty and acquiring rare items, as well. In the most recent manga, Forbidden Scrollery, she is seen bragging about a rare animal she obtained with great difficulty from the real world. This happens to be a chupacrabra, but Sakuya knows that she'll want it even when the danger has been revealed. It is plain to see that she places her own personal desires, however petty, above a great deal of things, with sensible pet-owning practices being a prime example in this case.

As one might guess from these desires and her claims to nobility, it isn't unfair to say that Remilia is greedy and selfish. The simple fact that she was willing to block out the sun for her own amusement makes that pretty clear. She is, again, used to both getting and taking what she wants, and she doesn't take no for an answer easily. On top of that, she is quite proud; though her mansion is staffed by the competent cast described above, she also keeps a staff of fairies in maid uniforms on hand. These maids cause more problems than they solve and literally exist to for the sake of appearances. She is essentially keeping them around for the sake of vanity, because she likes to have a household that not only is grand (it's already huge, with gardens, a clocktower, and just about everything Remilia wants inside of it), but looks grand even in unnecessary ways. She is very fond of her stature's trappings and loves to show off.

Remilia's temper is an interesting beast. She doesn't seem to get truly angry very often. She'll certainly be annoyed if someone bores her or otherwise doesn't do what she wants, and like most people in Gensokyo, isn't above starting a fight for fairly silly reasons, even if an incident is going on, such as when she decides to play detective and challenge people in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. She doesn't take threats very seriously, most of the time, and seems to treat them as a challenge for the most part. This can be seen in Silent Sinner in Blue again, when she arrogantly faces Yorihime and insists upon brawling with her physically most of the time as opposed to fussing with the danmaku system. She can be very casually aggressive, and when it becomes clear that she'll lose the battle against Yorihime, her cheer seems somewhat strained. She brushes it off, but it looks as though she's at least somewhat embarrassed by the defeat even if she tries not to show it.

Remilia is, then, a somewhat difficult person to deal with. She is proud, stubborn, and used to getting what she wants. Even when what she wants is strange or bad for someone else. However, she's hardly evil and likes a good time, so she won't go out of her way to be unpleasant company unless she's bored and usually maintains decorum as a lady.

Abilities:

One of her abilities is rather loosely defined as being able to manipulate fate. If she were to get this back, I'd say she might be able to nudge one or two people or, with permission, have some vague precognitive abilities, but she hardly uses this in canon.

She also has most standard vampire powers and weaknesses! She drinks blood and can change others by draining them; she is super-strong with enhanced senses; and she is weak to sunlight, running water including rain, and roasted soybeans (for some reason).

Other: That should be it!

Oh wow, that was something. Apologies!

Third Person Sample:

Remilia peered expectantly around the shop, her pink shoes clacking on the wood as she strolled among the merchandise. It was all junk, bits of devices she could tell were broken without even being able to identify them. She reached out, anyway, and picked up a twisted piece of metal, turning it over in her hands ones before dropping it carelessly back on the table. Something underneath it cracked. She turned to the next table over, apparently heedless of the damage. This time, she tapped a row of wooden objects with her claws, stopping on the last object in the line.

A wooden box, as far as she could tell, with a circle of plastic laid over it. What really attracted her attention was the curving metal horn attached, opening at the top like a flower. She trailed a claw up the side, letting the whine of movement on the metal curl into the air.

"Oh, my...," she mused. Turning to face the shopkeeper, she cleared her throat. "What's this?"

He didn't look up from his book as he replied, "A device from the outside world."

She huffed impatiently, glaring at him. "I know that. Tell me, if you'd be so kind, what it does."

That was not really a request. She watched him as though she was bored of the whole place, but with her wings unfolding on her back to make her figure more impressive. She fluttered them impatiently as she waited for his answer.

"It plays music. Turn the crank and lower that arm."

That seemed to change everything, her red eyes lighting with curiosity once more. She even turned the crank herself, and delicately guided the strange arm down to the surface of the disk. When the music began, scratchy though it was, she clapped her hands in delight, bobbing on the tips of her toes. "How lovely! Yes, Sakuya, we'll take this one!"

At the first sound of her name, the maid had already detached herself from the wall, and was carrying the device to the counter with her mistress smiling at her side. She was already planning how to put her new acquisition to work.

"Once we return to the mansion, Sakuya, you'll set it up in the garden. I believe I want some music with my afternoon tea."
