Oh, she understands enough to get the gist; this is her home now. And it doesn't really look like she has a choice in the matter. Wherever she is obviously is not Japan -- it looks kind of like America, from what she can remember of it and all the writing is in English, too.
Is this America, then? After arriving here, she'd taken to wandering around to try and work out where she was and it seemed like there were lots of people here from all over the world. America was supposed to be diverse and full of people and this neighbourhood (for lack of a better word) was certainly very American.
She's worried about Umika and Kaoru. Do they know she's missing? Once they notice she's gone, they'll tear apart the city looking for her. After all this time, all the blood, sweat and tears they'd shed together -- to be seperated from each other by a place like this was almost too cruel for Kazumi to comprehend.
Maybe they're here already... she wonders and picks up the pace, breaking into a jog. This is a big place, but if she's going to look for Kaoru and Umika, she's going to have to be thorough.
