I'm so sorry this is late! There was a huge flight mix up at the airport I was supposed to arrive at and I ended up coming home a full day later from my trip than expected. I hope it's still in the time range!

Third Person Sample:

"Raikou-san! RAIKOU-SAN!!"

For working part time as a ninja's assistant (well, samurai, but the line between ninja and samurai was blurred as far as required paperwork was concerned), Gau Meguro was being awfully loud. Of course, he would argue that waking up in what looked like an American neighborhood with a completely new family of strangers when just seconds previously you were running from a group of ninjas that were out to kill you, your samurai and the boy who saved you from a comatose state was a situation that required immediate investigation- following finding Raikou, of course.

Frantically searching the area around him for a familiar face, he saw the thick paper packet on the door of the house behind him. His skills in paperwork came in handy, as he was probably one of the few to read every last word on those pages. His house...? Landlord...? What was this all about? The paperwork was done professionally and efficiently, certainly, but none of it made any sense in the context of his own life.

He sighed in frustration, looked up again, and continued to scan the area.

"Hello? Is anyone else here- Erk!"

Ninja instincts instantly kicked in when his yelling produced a small, confused looking boy from the next house over and Gau quickly ducked behind the nearest bush. How could I be so careless, he thought, when Kairoushuu could be anywhere in this place! Just because the situation has changed is no reason to let my guard down!

He furrowed his brow in concentration as he rechecked his priorities. The boy could be a surface world dweller, and this "Landlord" figure was clearly the one responsible for this mess. Gau vowed to have words with the man, and perhaps he could kill two birds with one stone by asking this landlord about Raikou's whereabouts.

With further consideration, it seemed to be his only choice when no pink haired samurai made himself visible. Popping out from behind the bush, he practically charged towards the poor boy from across the street, the volume that had previously disappeared from his voice returning with reinforcement.

"Hey! Heyyyy! Excuse me!! Please, I need your help!"

Without letting the boy even breathe a word, Gau was right in front of him, leaning in and speaking probably a bit too closely and loudly (respectively) for comfort.

"Tell me, where is the landlord?!"
