[ The video call starts with pressing of several buttons. The key smashing is harsh on the ear, but it thankfully passes as soon as Jonathan realizes what he's doing. ]
Argh! I'm sorry about that! I am still not very good at using this device. [ Plus his hands are too big to efficiently work the phone. Well nonetheless have an apologetic smile. ] On similar note, I want to ask how to use the laundry machine. My housemate - [ Not his wife. His wife was Erina. ] - has been taking care of it for some time, but I don't want her to bear all the responsibilities. Unfortunately, I have never actually done laundry before ...
[ Right now, he feels a little pathetic. Sure slicing zombie in half is a piece of cake, but housework is another story. Still, he is pretty earnest in his desire to help around the house. ]
So a point to the right direction would be great! Thank you in advance.

Third Person:
"Well, Mr. Joestar. Your resume and short paper on ancient civilization were excellent. Considered yourself hired."
Once the president of the university said those words, a delightful smile graced Jonathan's lips. Abruptly standing up from his seat on the comfy sofa, he reached out and energetically shook the man's hand. He was considerably larger than the old man, and the handshake was enough to shake his glasses off from the tip of his nose.
"Thank you very much sir! I'll do my best not to disappoint you!" Jonathan said with great enthusiasm before withdrawing his hand. The president, as dumbfounded as he was by Jonathan's vigor, seemed to find his reaction amusing. The elderly man chuckled and readjusted his crooked glasses.
"Not that I am complaining, but you seem very happy to have this job. Do you like archaeology to that extent?"
"I've always found it fascinating." Jonathan started. Although he was considerably calmer now, his eyes were sparkling with passion only a dedicated researcher could have. "There is something charming about discovering the unknown from the past. Adventurous even. And ..."
His closed his eyes, still smiling.
"It is one of the few connections I have in Holly Heights with my home."
Many painful things happened back home. He had lost his home, his family, and his comrades, but he didn't want to simply forget about them. He felt that simply letting them fade away would be dishonorable to their memory, how dear they were to him. Especially to his late father who encouraged him to follow his passion in the first place.
"I see." The president said gently after studying his new employee. He took out a key from his drawer and handed it to him. "It'll be tough for several months. But best of luck Professor Joestar."
The young Joestar stared down at the key, a key to his office no doubt, before closing his fingers around it. Professor Joestar. It was embarrassing to be hear himself addressed as a professor. On other hand, it was exhilarating as if someone had confirmed that the countless nights he had stayed up studying was not for naught.
That day Jonathan Joestar got his first job.
OTHER Housing Request?: preferably a house with a nice kid(s) Did you read the rules and FAQ?: Of course :'D Would you like your application to be unscreened?: Yes.
Orientation: Heterosexual. Prior to his death, Jonathan was married to Erina whom he has been in love with since childhood. He even comments on how cute girls can be after Erina shyly returns his handkerchief. Granted that was when he was twelve, but given his feelings towards her I think it still holds water. It's questionable whether or not he would come to love another woman like he did Erina, but it's obvious that he prefers women as his partner.
Hope that's good enough! Sorry for the mishap earlier.
