[ Nai has always leaned toward the clumsy side. it wasn't rare to see him dropping or tripping over things. such things often happened when he was too engrossed in something else to mind his own feet too much. ...like now.
it seems the cellphone had turned on in his pocket while he was running. considering it was in the pocket everything seemed a little muffled, but it was still clear from the sounds of his running footsteps and words that he was chasing after something ]
Wait!! Come back, birdie! I need my keys...!!
[ oh dear it was a bird. looking up while running? this was obviously not going to end well at all ]
Wa-BANG.
Thud. Clatter Uuu.... [ the cellphone falls out of is pocket, onto the ground showing Nai tearing up in font of a light pole, holding his nose in pain. ...was that a bloody nose? ]

The one thing Nai missed most while in Holly Heights was the woods. Having lived in one the most of his life, it was the most relaxing and comfortable environment for him. Of course Nai enjoyed the cities and towns, being surrounded by all kinds of people he'd never even imagined back in the woods. Each day was filled with curiosity, new findings, and excitement.
But there were just times when he missed the soothing environment of the nature, the sounds of only small creatures, and rustling of plants. The small, faint voices of the flowers and wind. The warm sunshine on his face, and prickling grass beneath his hand. On days he missed all that, he would go to the park and lay on the grass. Closing his eyes and listening to the sounds around him. He wasn't able to hear the voices of the nature as well as back home, but the chirps and rustles were still nice.
His light dozing was woken up by a tickling sensation on his arm. Opening his eyes, Nai finds a butterfly resting its wings on his arm. He resits the urge to grab the butterfly by its wings, remembering learning that it was bad for the butterfly to do that. The next idea that flashes in his mind was eating the butterfly, but he immediately tilts his head at that. Butterflies were insects, and not for eating. Nobody in the Circus ate bugs. But he vaguely recollected eating some when he was still a Niji.
"...I'm sorry for eating your friends, Butterfly-san" he says quietly towards the insect still resting on his arm. He didn't have any interest in eating insects anymore, so he now currently felt guilty over doing that in the past. His imaginary Niji ears and tails drooped down as he sadly looked towards the butterfly.
