[ His voice bellows, far too close to the speaker. ]
I can't be certain this is on...
[ He shuffles, and with a small ahem he moves a bit farther from the mouthpiece, enabling his voice to become more audible. ]
Good afternoon, students of Holly Heights! Oh yes, and civilians in general: listen carefully, for this might apply to you! I am speaking to you all today on behalf of the one-man disciplinary committee of Altaciere High School. Yes, I did assign myself to this position! No, that is not important!
The committee has come to a mutual agreement regarding the general hygiene of school students. But, as always, I believe that good hygiene is necessary for all forms of life. Big and small! Student or no student! Anyway, the decision has been made to enforce a hygienic code for everyone between the ages of 0 and 84!
What does this mean for you? Well... for one thing, no more nose picking! Please resist all urges to scratch the inside of your nostrils, for fear of boogers and the germs they spread! Secondly, please take showers at least once a day! If you are not able to shower for whatever reason whatsoever, please resist all urges to tell anyone that! Use perfume! Deodorant! Highbrow wigs from the French Revolution! Anything to ensure that all walks of life will not be disgusted by putrid human odor!
If none of the above requirements are met, understand that there will be consequences!! You might be forced to drink from the warm water fountains around the school. Or worse: dog "duty" clean-up!
I hope I have made myself clear. Thank you for your time! This has been a public service announcement from your very own, Kiyotaka Ishimaru!
Third Person:
Like any respectable signature student would upon receiving word regarding a lack of volunteers at the local library, Kiyotaka Ishimaru nominates himself for the nighttime bookkeeping leadership position at the Paru Prose.
It's easy enough for the older ladies who manage the library to accept him into the position with open arms. After all, he is the perfect model student with plenty of recommendations, and should he had remembered to bring these elderly ladies a few of the cat magnets he had found on his refrigerator to the library on his first day of volunteering, they'd probably let him eat lunch with them in the managerial break room, which might've been ideal. After all, since Ishimaru makes it his sole duty to organize the few other student volunteers into an orderly conduct by imposing a set lunchtime and set breaktime for every single one of them, he's gotten himself unknowingly labeled as "Ishimaru Hard-aru", a name thrown around a lot majorly when he's not looking.
(Because even when he's looking, he doesn't notice. Most of the student volunteers have accepted it as him being too lenient, at this point. Or oblivious. They argue about it sometimes.)
His job usually involves pesky numbers and figuring, which he doesn't find too difficult most of the time. Paperwork isn't actually the problem, unless it's paperwork with a smile. He can bring coffee. He can run errands. When it gets to the small talk, and if the other person isn't afraid of being blunt, he might hear "overwhelming", or "???", or even "..." used once or twice. He can sort of sense it, mostly. Which is something to work on, of course.
