SAMPLES
(note: these are the samples from my first app; wasn't sure if I was expected to write new ones or not. It's not a problem if I do)

First Person:
[well, after being here a while it's probably for the best that she gets in contact with the wider community and see how everyone is coping with the situation. Fortunately, the layout of streets and houses is quite repetitive, so what could have proven a somewhat difficult task proves easy enough with some practise. Completely disregarding the computer, and finding the idea of greeting cards a little too pointlessly time consuming, Lilly is simply moving down the streets, knocking on doors and introducing herself, trying to get to know her neighbours and building a mental map of the area. It's not as if she can't ask if she gets lost.

In any case, here she is, going door to door. You'll hear a polite, regular knock. She'll wait a little while in case she can hear anyone coming, but if not she'll just move on. Answering the door however...]

Good afternoon! I am Lilly Satou; recently arrived. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance...?

Third Person:
Dropping a blind person into a new location without so much as a 'by your leave' was never a good first impression. The change in smells and sounds from the interior of their house in Inverness to the... quiet street she seemed to be standing on now was the most obvious shift, between the faint breeze and the simple fact her house out in the country was not part of any street to begin with. The air and grass simply felt foreign; not chilly or wild enough to be Scotland and certainly nowhere near the fields of Yamaku or Hokkaido; the grass was too neatly trimmed, the blades a rough but even level beneath her fingertips. Clearly a garden, in other words. All in all leading to the inevitable conclusion... she did not know where she was.

Problematic.

Well, such things had been known to happen in the past when she was younger; there was a simple and elegant solution. Heading away from the sounds of the road, she walked carefully, testing the ground with her foot before pressing any weight on it (walking through someone else's flowerbed would be rude).

Finding a fence (wooden and up to her waist; definitely a garden) and following it along, she came to a brick wall and traced her way to the door. Knocking three times, even as a metronome, she settled herself before the entrance, and prepared to wait.

She had no idea how she'd gotten this badly lost, but hopefully someone would be able to point her in the right direction.
