History: The plot of Mirai Nikki and most of Yuno's part in said plot. I will fill in the blanks of said plot below.

The Fifth's Game: After the massacre of the Omekata Temple Cult, Rea, Yukki's mother, agrees to take in the child of two of the Cult's members. That child turns out to be Reisuke Houjou, who is also a Future Diary owner. However his Diary only shows him various ways to kill other Diary owners three times a day - morning, noon and evening. Yet he uses it to his advantage and nearly stabs Yuno, poisons Yukki and Yuno with poison-infused tomatoes and electrocutes Yuno when she tries to take a bath. Miraculously (and mostly thanks to Yuno's intuition), the pair are able to escape all of those ploys.

Yet they are unable to escape Reisuke's final "game". He mails himself his Diary from a convenience store he visited with Yukki's mother. Yukki opens the package wrong and it expels poisonous gas. He inhales a good deal of it and nearly dies. However Yuno, by holding her breath and surviving a real electrocution, is able to find Reisuke and, thanks to Yukki, grab the antidote. Yet she too loses consciousness and Minene is the one who finds them and gives them both the antidote in time.

The Tenth's Trap: After re-entering middle school (in another location), Yukki makes friends with a small group of people (Hinata, Mao, Kosaka and, eventually, Akise). Yet Yuno never fully trusts them. She follows them as they check out a crime scene after school and she is right beside them when they find the "body" of Hinata Hino. (Hinata had been the leader of the group that had befriended Yukki in the classroom and she had been right beside them as they had investigated the crime scene. Therefore the culprit of her "murder" had to be nearby.)

Right after they find her body, the group hear howls in the distance and they are soon chased to an observatory by a pack of highly-trained dogs. Yuno warns Yukki about trusting any of the people around him (aside from herself) because someone is obviously controlling the dogs. Yukki ignores her and puts his trust in his new friends only to find that Yuno is right. Hinata is alive (the body had been a fake) and she is the one controlling the dogs. Her reasoning for doing so is because she wants Akise Aru's Diary - only, it turns out, he doesn't have a Diary and he has been fooling them the entire time (which they discover after playing a coin toss game).

Realizing they are, more or less, screwed, Hinata and Mao debate over their choices while holding Yukki/Yukki's Diary hostage. Yuno loses her temper and stabs Mao in the side, thus ending the hostage situation as Hinata runs to her friend's aid. Yuno, Yukki, Akise and Kosaka then escape the observatory only to be chased by the dogs as soon as Hinata gives the command. The group decides to split up - allowing Yukki to run back to Hinata and Mao. Yuno ends up following him (because, honestly, she couldn't give two craps about anyone else) and she takes Hinata hostage - thus getting her to call off the dogs. Yukki realizes that Yuno has every intention to kill the girl (because she fears Yukki will fall in love with Hinata), so he distracts her with a lie.

He calls her his girlfriend. And peace reigns in the land again. At least until the Tenth contacts Hinata (his daughter) and tells her that he had no intention of re-creating the world to spend more time with her and that he hopes she doesn't turn out like him. He is then shot - thus ending the call.

The Final Battle: The night of the 27th sees many astounding things between Yukki and Yuno. For one, they take a bath together and then sleep together for the first time (thus fulfilling their "Happy End" a day early). However, after sleeping together, Yukki stumbles upon the truth about Yuno. She isn't, technically, from his world. In fact she is already a god. But, thanks to a double suicide that went horribly wrong (i.e. she survived), Yuno was left behind when Yukki died in her world (which is dubbed "the First World"). Thus she used her powers to go back in time and find Yukki again. However, in order to do so, she had to kill the Second World's Yuno.

Which she did. Upon learning the truth, Yukki is understandably horrified. Yuno tries to kill him with an axe (because she knows the awful truth that, even as a god, the dead can't be revived) and she doesn't want Yukki to have to kill her (in order to win the game/save the world). He manages to escape and, thanks to Murumuru, Yuno travels back in time once again to relive the moments she shared/shares with Yukki all over again in a Third World.

Yet, once again, she will have to kill the Yuno of that world. Yukki and Minene manage to stop her, but then Yuno traps Yukki in an illusionary world where she doesn't exist and he has everything else he always desired (i.e. loving, living parents, a new coat etc.). Miraculously, Yukki ends up choosing her over all of those things. Moved to tears, Yuno agrees to stab him (on his request) only to stab herself.

Right before she stabs herself, she will enter the game.
