Ahh, Kougyoku is her first name! Sorry for the confusion.

Anyway, for the most part, Kougyoku is canonly straight. As mentioned in the personality section, she falls in love at first sight with Sinbad. She isn't shown to have any romantic affection for the opposite sex at this time.
