Nunnally rubbed her eyes slowly before finally opening them, taking in her new surroundings. The sky was a crisp blue, the grass barely showed due to the leaves on the ground, and she felt a chill go up her legs. It was strange to see because the last place she remembered was on the rooftop with her best friend and knight.
Now she was alone.
"Where...am I?"
Nunnally stood up and looked at all the houses on the block: exactly the same decorations, the same cars in the driveway, and the same white chairs like the one she woke up on. This wasn't Ashford and she doubted that this place was still in Japan. It frightened Nunnally after all this time but now wasn't the time to cry about it. She turned back to the chair and picked up what looked like some papers and a ring of keys. One of the chains had a peculiar number engraved on it...that's when she saw the same number at the house she was standing at. Perhaps the people who live here could give her some answers.
Or at least she hope they would.
Nunnally slowly walked up to the door and knocked, waiting for someone to answer. When the door opened, she finally spoke. She wouldn't show how nervous she was, instead giving the person on the other side a small smile.
"Excuse me, but could you tell me where I am?"
