Species: Note that any species other than human will become human. Animals, aliens, even human like beings. You're going to become homo sapiens like the rest of us.

Orientation: FILL THIS OUT IF YOU HAVE A CHARACTER THAT IS OVER 18, NO BUTS. Here at Holly Heights, we don't discriminate against anyone's orientations. That being said, if your character is gay, we aren't going to make them take a wife when housing plans are given. Gay marriage is completely legal. Please give us a short and simple reason you think they are gay/straight/bi/etc if they don't have an explicitly state sexuality. Please keep it short, though. We do know it's tempting to tl;dr about things like this. Long story short, the real question is Would your character be more comfortable with a wife, husband, or either?, so that we know what houses to place them in.

Once upon a time Akio was a prince, but back then he wasn't Akio he was simply Dios. It's hard to say if Dios was simply an ideal or not, but he is in fact the other half of Akio. Perhaps it's best to describe him as the angelic and pure half before Akio's complete and total fall from grace. It is understood that Dios became corrupted and lost his sense of purpose as a prince and thus Akio came into being. (In the manga it was done intentionally, but it's much more vague in the animeverse and that's where he's coming from, so sorry it's not really very explanatory?).
There isn't really much known about his life after his fall, but it can be assumed that he lived something of a privileged life. He managed to get himself on good terms with a seemingly powerful family and even got a position at a very prestigious school (Ohtori Academy, respectively) through the engagement to the chairman's daughter. The chairman took ill at some point after meeting Akio and his sister; afterward Akio becoming his replacement until his recovery at a later date. It was there that he began to long and grasp for his former glory, creating the Dueling game in an attempt to create or find a duelist that is capable of power and nobility. He needs their sword to break the seal on the gate so he can restore himself to his full power. From his position in the school he runs the duels, not showing himself until farther in to the series where he reveals that he is in fact the mysterious man running the duels.
It is at this point that he's made himself part of the show, becoming familiar with the student council and the heroine. In fact, he takes quite an interest in Utena, pursuing her rather seriously as the duelist that he needs to regain his power. Akio basically controls everything having to do with the duels and the duelists, including Mikage in the black rose arc. After Mikage's defeat at the hands of Utena, Akio tells him his role in his plot was already fulfilled, and disposes of him. In the process, it is implied that Mamiya was somehow a disguised Anthy, helping Akio to manipulate Mikage.
After that we have the Akio Arc, in which Akio is (duh) more prominent. He finally reveals who he actually is to Touga and takes him to the 'end of the world. They then methodically subject each one of the duelists to the same thing, changing the nature of the duels temporarily and the duelists choose their own brides to fight with. Throughout all of this Akio is strengthening his bond with Utena, biding his time until she is ultimately tested for her nobility and power.
Akio warns Touga that his next match with Utena will decide the true champion, but before the duel, Touga and Saionji discover more about Utena's origin; little by little, the secrets involving Anthy, Akio and the duels start to unveil. Touga discovers his true feelings for Utena, and in order to protect her, he brings Saionji as his "bride" to fight her one last time, afraid of what could happen to her if she would become the final victor. After losing the duel, he tries to warn her about Akio and Anthy's true intentions.
Despite Touga's warnings, Utena decides to go with Anthy once more to the duel stage in order to meet the prince from her past, only to discover it all was an illusion created by Akio to steal her heart's sword. Utena decides to fight Akio and tries to protect Anthy from him, but Anthy (literally) stabs Utena in the back, which allows Akio to take her sword. He attempts to use it to open the doors that could lead to his so-called "World Revolution", but the sword breaks and Akio gives up. When Utena see how much Anthy is suffering from her past deeds, she decides to open it up with her bare hands, despite Akio's warnings. After that, the entire duel stage crumbles and Utena is apparently ripped apart by the Swords of Hatred which had previously ensnared Anthy. After these events, it is revealed that Utena has disappeared from Ohtori Academy; a few days later, Akio decides to start the rose duels again, but Anthy informs him that she is leaving the Academy, the links that bound her to the Academy and her brother finally severed thanks to Utena's sacrifice. The series ends with Anthy leaving the Academy in search of Utena.
This is where we have him from, after his own defeat and he is clearly contemplating starting the cycle over again. /o/
Re: Akio Ohtori || Shoujo Kakumei Utena || Reserved
Akio is a tall (6'7") and rather slender man. Since he is so tall the fact that he is slender is a little more noticeable, but let it be said that despite this he has a very healthy build. He has long silvery-lavender hair, which he usually keeps tied back at the nape of his neck (though on rare occasions he does let his hair down). He has green eyes that contrast rather nicely with his tan skin and a single silver hoop earring in his left ear. He has a rather simple sense of style, usually opting for a nice button down shirt and tie. And slacks, of course, you can't forget the slacks. Every once in a while he can be seen in something more casual than that, but that is something that happens very rarely (and usually only if you have caught him in the middle of the night when he's actually been sleeping). On occasion he does don an outfit similar to the duelists and reminiscent of what he wore when he was considered to be Dios, but that probably won't come into play here. Yet. Here's his usual outfit and his more 'formal' self.
Personality:
Akio, for lack of a better term is a very complicated man. Not that many people would see that right off the bat, but it definitely needs to be said. Outwardly Akio is a charming man, almost unassuming and seemingly humble at times. He comes of as somewhat laid back, the man who people turn to for advice and to gain something from his wisdom; he is after all a very intelligent man who does have the ability to exude confidence. He loves to have deep, meaningful conversations with people and analyze them; learn about many things to the point that he could be considered something of a Renaissance man. He knows a little something about this and that and everything in between, he does seem to be particularly interested in mythology however. Particularly myths surrounding the stars and planets, even allowing himself to let them become references to himself. He dabbles in photography, gardening and seems to really enjoy cooking (he's not the kind of man that cooks from a box, when he does things he goes all out). It's unclear if these are things that he truly enjoys or if these are just part of the mask that he puts on to show the general public.
It seems that in most cases, Akio only does things simply to amuse himself. The meaningful conversations? They in fact mean little to nothing to him, in fact a majority of the time he's gathering information; looking for a way to break someone down. You see, underneath all that smarm and those seemingly comforting smiles, there's a completely different side to Akio. A side that he keeps hidden until it's too late. He can, for lack of a better term, be considered an selfish, narcissistic and arrogant asshole. Look up god complex, you'll find him there. He thrives on schadenfreude and the chances to ruin people, watching them suffer both mentally and emotionally. He especially seems to enjoy it the most when he's the cause of his victim's suffering. Of all his past times the two that he truly seems to give a damn about are psychological 'torture' and sex. He uses sex to his advantage, using it as a power play or a show of his dominance over other people. He does what he wants and what amuses him, this effectively making him the worst kind of person to deal with. He never forces people to do anything they don't want to, instead opting for subtle manipulation to 'nudge' them in the direction of his choosing. But in some cases manipulation takes a great deal of time, which means that the man has a great deal of patience. If he thinks that something is worth the pursuit, he'll persevere and do everything that he can to attain what he's after.
He knows how to compose himself in an adult setting; how to dress, how to talk, how to present himself to others, but he's almost childlike in the way that he doesn't accept responsibility for any of the things that he does. During his life he's never been held accountable for his behaviour (never been reprimanded or punished for anything he's done), so he doesn't suffer the same kind of moral conflicts that the average person does. He knows well enough the difference between right and wrong, he just doesn't care. In a sense, the only thing that fuels him is his own selfishness and need for entertainment as well as the pursuit of pleasure. As far as he's concerned, he's special enough to continue on the path he's walking without having to suffer any consequences.
All that being said, the man tends to stay rather cool in the face of everything. Every once in a while he'll have a moment to himself where he lets a glare or an unamused look pass over his face, but he tends to make sure that no one else is looking at the moment. He only lets people see what he wants them to see. However, even with as calm as he can present himself if things start going the wrong way, he does have a temper underneath all that. He is constantly acting though, so he's usually good at keeping his temper under wraps. If you do happen to catch him in a moment where he's lost it, it's best to step back and let him have his moment; there's no telling what else he might be capable of.

Other: Ummmm....nothing that I can think of? Other than chances are he will try to start something here but it would be a while before he could set something up. Like always, he'll bide his time until it seems that his success will be guaranteed.

[Welcome your newest resident, Holly Heights, a rather charming looking man sits on the other end of the screen offering an unassuming smile.]
It seems as if we're all in the same sort of trouble here, aren't we? Not that it's all bad, but it's still trouble...
[He's thoughtful for a moment before looking away from the camera and speaking again.]
It's a little uncomfortable being in a house of strangers though, isn't it? I'm sure I'm not the only one in my house having a problem adjusting though, it would be selfish to think as much. I've been thinking about offering to make dinner for them, something of a peace offering? I think that should do a world of good, bonding over a good dinner.
[He finally addresses the screen again, smile spreading over his lips again as he tilts his head.]
As for the rest of you, I look forward to getting to know you. Perhaps we'll even figure a way out of here if we try hard enough, right?
[With that he leans forward, shutting off the feed.]
Third Person:
Of course the entire situation had been a shock, but after he'd thought about it perhaps the most disappointing thing for him was the car. The colour was close enough, but the shape was all wrong. He finally stepped away from the car, trailing his finger along the surface with a sigh. He imagined that the keys were in his pockets, reaching hand slipping down to pull out the ring that had been provided for him. He took a moment to look over the keys, studying them with interest before stepping toward the front door and pushing it open.
As he stepped through he found himself taking a deep breath, pleasantly surprised by the way that the home smelled. There was none of the stuffiness or mustiness in the air that you would have expected from a house that had been empty for quite sometime, it in fact had the scent of a warm and welcoming place. He really couldn't put his finger on it, but it would do. After all, it wasn't as if he really had much of a choice in the matter, so he accepted it as best he possibly could.
He pulled the packet from the door before closing it, turning it over in his hands for a moment before breaking the seal on it to peruse the contents. It wasn't surprise on his face, in fact, a slow smile spread over his lips as he began to take in all the information. It was like another game, wasn't it? Perhaps a test, even. New people, new rules, perhaps it was just what he needed to attain what he had been after for so long. He continued to think to himself, smile still on his face as he reached the master bedroom and looked thoughtfully out the window.
Yes, this was an ideal place, wasn't it? Of course, it would be difficult to build things up the way that he had before, but maybe it would make it that much more satisfying in the end. He was watching the sky carefully for quite some time before he finally turned away from the window and made his way back to the living room. Perhaps it was time to meet his new family, after all, it seemed like such a fun game to play. It was then that he spotted the computer, maybe it was time to greet the neighbours as well.
