CANON UPDATING

CANON UPDATING
Canon updating will be simple.

Out of game, all that has to be done is replying to this post with your character in the subject line and filling out a short form. Only three little things to do.

In game, your character will fall asleep as their old self and wake up as their new selves. They'll remember all that happened in their past as if it was a memory they had forgotten. It's unexplained why it was repressed, but they remember now and that's the big thing.

Here is the form to fill out for canon updating:

AGE UPDATING
If your seventeen year old turns eighteen, they have to be moved to an adult slot! Please just let us know in a comment and we will re-randomize him into a house with a spouse.

New Canon Point: Chapter 72

Differences: The nature of the canon doesn't show a very obvious progression of time, sans a little something this chapter, so a lot of the differences Nozaki has experience have to do with his relationship to other characters/changes within his own attitude. However, firstly, the one thing that has changed outside of Nozaki's own behaviour is him witnessing that more of his friends know the identities of who helps him out with his manga (i.e. Wakamatsu and Mikoto find out about the other's duties). So, with that knowledge, Nozaki would likely be less likely to stick to the same level of secrecy in game as well.

The new level of comfort around his friends also extends to being able to rely on them for suggestions that'll aid his work - beyond simply observing them - as he'll actively ask them for contributions, trusting that they'll have learned enough about his methods and his characters by now. He also seems to have gained a lot of trust and fondness for Chiyo in particular, from believing that her ideas are so good that he won't even need to review them (as he did with others') to openly showing her affection because the fact that she doesn't believe his work is embarrassing means a lot. His closeness to Chiyo seems to have grown well past the initial assistant turned friend because he'll make remarks like, out of all their friends, it would be a situation where she leaves him that would surprise and hurt him the most.

Of course, it's not only Chiyo whom he's gotten to enjoy spending time with. What were more acquaintance-like relationships with others at school, like Kashima and Yuzuki, have grown into stronger friendships, where he'll take to spending time with them and helping them out with things in their lives (without any ulterior manga motives). The same goes for his relationship with his editor, Ken, who he seems to be getting on friendlier terms with (as he gathers crumb after crumb of little info about Ken via their interactions), and creating a more mutually understood work relationship.

That's about it - basically, tldr, he'll wake up having levelled up in friendship and trust and being more appreciative of everyone around him.
