CANON UPDATING Canon updating will be simple. Out of game, all that has to be done is replying to this post with your character in the subject line and filling out a short form. Only three little things to do. In game, your character will fall asleep as their old self and wake up as their new selves. They'll remember all that happened in their past as if it was a memory they had forgotten. It's unexplained why it was repressed, but they remember now and that's the big thing. Differences: Not much other than a change in canon point. In short, big bad Asura has been sealed away after a long fight with Black☆Star, Maka, and Death the Kid. The biggest difference is that Black☆Star is currently teaching himself how to fly and knows how to float a little. Yeah, he can't fly so he's literally just teaching himself. No age change or personality change considering the very short amount of time that has passed. I just wanted to bump him from 'almost end of the manga' to 'the end of the manga'.

New Canon Point: Post series (not counting the omake of the omake so chapter 223)
Differences: There's a lot in timeline, considering the epilogue is about ten years later. This will make Chouza 31 instead of 21. ((note: considering there's a gap of ten years between the main story and the epilogue, there's much information missing. however, it's possible to figure out things from the hints given. So, I'll put in some headcanon figured from canon, which will be marked in italics. things that are underlined are things that's completely headcanon))

After he was locked outside of the cave where God was, he tried for a long time to get inside to the rest of his friends, until he finally succeeded just when the caves were crumbling. It was thanks to him that they got out of the cave safely.

After visiting Utuho's home village with everyone, he set off together with Uzume and Minamo to look for Uzume's people, and since then, he's even managed to fall in love. Chouza, who has a hard time opening up to people, somehow got married and had a daughter. He's become a little more open, and less defensive about the tattoos on his face. He does not freeze up and get immobilized when people who're not very close to him (that it, Uzume and Minamo) see them. But having a child also means he's had to face his fear about becoming like his own father, who murdered Chouza's mother and tried to kill Chouza. This far, he's doing pretty good, even if his eight year old daughter Ageha is way too flimsy and irresponsible according to him. But still, she's only eight.

However, as it's apparent that there is no mother of his daughter around anymore, something has happened to her. So, when Ageha was three years old, Chouza, his wife, and Ageha lived in a city. However, due to not many liking the people his wife (and Uzume) come from, someone set the house on fire. Chouza and Ageha managed to survive, but his wife didn't. This shook both of them very hard, even if Ageha was still young -she's a smart kid, and considering her dad is a wanted man, it's not that weird for her to be familiar with death even at that age. For a long time, Chouza didn't open up about his feelings to even his friends, and for some time, none of them could find either him or Ageha, after they left to get some space, following his wife's funeral.

When they showed up again, it was at the village Neya had build where Utsuho's village had once been. After some time there, they started traveling with Uzume and Minamo, and Ageha started imitating a lot of what Uzume did. Everyone of their old gang taught her various ways of fighting, and after time, Chouza has managed to go back to his normal personality, more or less. He's a bit more caring, a lot better at taking care of people, and less prone to hide his tattoos now.

Currently, he's watching over a village that is being built by and for the people that Uzume and his wife belong(ed) to. The village is a way away from any city, due to the discrimination, but at least it's safer for them there than in a city.

and that's that. I hope I'm doing it right. Next time I'll do a canon update for my other character (not yet) with less time passing in canon.
