[text][he'd mark this private if it's necessary/a thing]
I have a question for you regarding marriage. I'm not quite eighteen yet, but I realized recently on my birthday that I might very well still be here when I am, and I wanted to have a clear idea about my future.
I realize that you arrange adults who come into this world into families as spouses, and I've been told that those of us who turn eighteen here find ourselves in a similar situations once that birthday comes.
I understand that many of us aren't in relationships or don't have our partners from home here, which leaves you no other option within your established pattern but to choose partners for us.
However, what about those who do have partners here, or who meet and fall in love as teenagers? Often there is a little bit of time between people's official 'coming of age', and I'm concerned about the issue of moving into a marriage with a stranger while already dating someone. Would it be all right to ask for a reprieve for a few months until a partner comes of age, or perhaps to be allowed to choose a marriage partner if I'm already dating someone?
Thank you very much for your time.

it's okay
What will you do if they kill themselves? Or abuse their partner out of bitterness?
Will you take responsibility for these kinds of things?

But it seems a little juvenile to call me cruel and then threaten to commit arson, thus killing off a lot of natural wildlife and endangering people.
I don't live with regrets.

We'll just see what happens. If there's a way to get at you, I'll find it.
