Third Person: Sure, he'd heard the explanations. Shouhei had listened to all the answers that people could possibly give him, but even now, as he stood in front of what was supposed to be his "new home," he couldn't help but feel nervous... and pretty weirded out. It was true that a lot of weird things had happened since he'd joined HOMRA, but this? This kind of takes the cake. Even though it was only supposed to be temporary, there was something unsettling about it, and it was hard to really feel comfortable when there was so much to think about back home. It didn't feel right relaxing right now when Totsuka...
"Haaaa..." Shouhei let out a sigh, reaching for the keys in the pocket of his jeans. "I wonder what they're like?" he asked himself, idly imagining his new "family." Most of the people he'd spoken to so far had been pretty nice and extremely helpful. He'd hoped whoever he was staying with would be the same. (Not that he ever had trouble with that sort of thing, but hey, you never know, right?) Even with all the lingering concerns at the back of his mind, Shouhei stepped forward, sliding the key into the keyhole of the front door and putting a smile on his face when he pushed it open.
"I'm home!" he said cheerfully, acting as though this wasn't the first time he was stepping foot inside this house. He didn't know who he was going to meet here, but... Well, if they were supposed to be his family, the least he could do was try and look out for them, right? After all, if they'd been here longer than him, they probably had expectations for all of this, too. This whole situation was weird, but he would still do his best, at least until it was time for him to return to Shizume City and continue with HOMRA's mission. It wasn't like you just stopped living because you were stuck in a place like this, so that was probably the best way to handle it.
...the house seemed weirdly empty at the moment, though. Maybe no one's home right now? Huh.
